Our parent company Haver & Boecker receives order from China!

The National Grand Theatre is located to the west of the Great Hall of the People, in central Beijing, China. The project covers an area of 118.930 square meters, it has a floor space of 149.520 square meters.

The main building of the National Grand Theatre consits of an exterior shell, within which are a 2.416-seat opera house, a 2017-seat concert hall, a 1.040-seat theatre, a lobby and supporting facilities.

Construction of the project commenced in December 2001. It is expected to be completed in four years and open to the public in 2005.

Haver & Boecker received an order to cover the interior walls of the opera house - a total of 1.200². The specification MONO-BARRETTE 8147 is made of stainless steel cables and aluminum rods, that are anodized in 3 different colours. In-house engineering has already been completed. Shipment is scheduled for late summer.
