Since more than 40 years the second generation of the ORIGINAL TYLER Ro-Tap test sieve shaker is the standard equipment according FEPA-standard for abrasives. The Tyler Ro-Tap RX-29 for sieves with 8” diameter is the reference test sieve shaker for the producer of metal powder and for the shot peening industry. The Ro-Tap Testing Sieve Shaker  reproduces the circular  and tapping motion given testing sieves in hand sieving, but with a uniform, mechanical action, producing dependable sizing tests. Especially in the range of < 45 µm the tapping effect guarantees a good through-pass of the material. Independent of the kind of power supply, special versions of the Ro-Tap provide repeatable, consistent results worldwide.

A special version with sound enclosure cabinet was developed to meet the standard of the EU-machine directive. This is equipped with safety sensors to avoid injuries through the hammer during the sieving procedure and the noise will be reduced by 15 dBA. 

The Ro-Tap II has a cavity that allows for two “stacks” of 8” diameter sieves for twice the capacity. The RX-812 Coarse Sieve Shaker is without tapping device and for test sieves with 8” or 12” diameter.
